The Mudlick Holler Roadkill Cafe
Has the very best eatin' in town;
Folks come from all over the county,
Cuz Cledus is the best cook around.

Every day at the crack of dawn
Cledus climbs in his pickup truck,
Searching the highways and two-lanes
For roadkill that he can scrape up.

Armadillo Stew and Possum Pie,
Skunk Supreme and Squished-Squirrel Soup,
Crawdads with all the fine trimmings;
Cledus even makes Pigeon-Drop Droop!

Every day the menu changes;
Depends on what Cledus can find
Smashed and mashed on the highways;
His skills are never undermined.

Cledus can turn that smashed roadkill
Into genuine fine cuisine
That most ol' redneck fellers
Been eatin' since they were weaned.
