KEEPER OF THE STARS
Look up at the heavens, it's awesome
with the universe stretching afar,
it always looks so perfect
with zillions of sparkling stars.
Oh, how they sparkle like diamonds
glisten and shine every night,
shining through eternity
to give a guiding light.
I imagine someone must sweep them
and let the star dust fall,
to put stars in the eyes of lovers
bring magic to us all.
Sometimes there's a falling star
that an angel will catch and hide,
then save it for those who need it most
those whose hope has died.
Every star is polished
so its shine will reach the earth,
do you know some stars are for wishing
while others signal rebirth?
Some are a sign from heaven
from souls who've passed away,
when you need them on the darkest night
you'll feel their heavenly ray.
Who is the keeper of the stars
someone must love them so,
they're always buffed and polished
to cast a heavenly glow.
I think I know who's responsible
for handling the majestic role,
it's the Master of the Universe
the creator of our soul.
