BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY
Beautiful butterfly so fragile
wrapped in a save cocoon,
afraid to spread your glorious wings
living in darkness and gloom.
Your life has been a struggle
but struggle makes you strong,
soon you'll build your confidence
and have the things you've longed.
You've been afraid to take a risk
your heart is filled with fear,
your spirit has been broken
by the negativity you hear.
You are one of God's masterpieces
created with beauty and love,
never believe otherwise
for you were sent from above.
You are special, beautiful butterfly
embrace the wonder in your soul,
soon your plight will be over
and you'll achieve the goal.
When the need to be free is greater
than the comfort of the cocoon,
a strong butterfly will break free
spread her wings and bloom.
