Maw was a workin' in the kitchen
Cookin' up the roadkill Paw brought home
I just love that diesel-truck possum pie
Run down on highway 71 south of town
Paw was brewin' up some sour mash
Out back in his corn-fed still
He still ducks them revenuers
And I guess he always will
My sister was a dancin' nekked
At her job just outside o' town
Where she makes some mighty big bucks
Keepin' them truckers melted down
My little brother just got out of prison
Not quite three weeks ago today
And he is already back to pimpin'
He figgerz that's the only way
I'm still working as a stud for hire
And I'm doin' pretty durn good
I keep them ladies in the bridge club
Doin what not they should
On Christmas eve we all gather here
And wait for Santa to come
But so far he ain't never showed
I guess we're all too bothersome
