You moved into my heart
with no intention there to stay
A totally itinerant lover
with your heart of hardened clay
You captured my emotions
and captivated a helpless mind
Occupying all my waking thoughts
I believed you were so fine
I just plain simply loved you
with a heart that was so glad
I never even imagined
things could ever be this sad
Then one day you moved on
and we were totally apart
It was then I finally realized
you were a tenant in my heart
