Amazed
beyond words,
as I drew
kindly features
of one bright
poetic light
of the Starlite,
for to me
the revelation
seemed like
a dream
in time indeed,
as I drew
the lines
of this interesting
facial presentation;
of the one
and only
Michael Diaz.
He was born to write,
and I was astonished
as if the image
of Hemmingway
took the place
of graphite,
as so encapsulated
for all to see
as if the resurrection
RESEMBLANCE
might be a miracle
indeed.
How about it Mike
and by the way,
are you related
to Ernest Hemingway?
