The Shifting Sands of Time
I lo4ve you oh so dearly
with every atom of my existence.
A love that burns with a fiery rage
rendering my heart and soul but ashes;
A love that stands tall and firm
against the fiercest tides of this world;
A love so few have ever known.
I've loved you from
the first second I saw you.
You saw the fires
blazing in my eyes,as awestruck,
I feasted upon your beauty.
My heartstrings are being wrenched
from their moorings, ripping and tearing
at the very fibers of my existence.
My every molecule is being consumed
by this burning love for you.
My love for you will stand the tests
of the shifting sands of time
The gut-wrenching pain
I feel in my heart
is the only proof I need
To know deep within the depths
of my soul how truly
I love you.
