Pen Point's Poetry-- Poetry by DaLovePoet

What Will You Do?

What will you do
when you awake every morn
without my burning fire for you?
How will you cope with destroying
a love, which was so very true?

Will you be able
to handle your name
equated with that of a fool?
Will you toss and turn, and
sob the cold, lonely night through?

On the surface,
will you be happy and bright;
only to face the demons alone
all through the long cold winter's night

Will you awake calling out my name
realizing you have hardly slept;
wondering if I'm feeling the same;
wondering if I've wept?

What will you do?
