Bubba's Graduation from Mudlick Holler


Bubba graduated from school today,
And dang we was so proud!
He only been thar nineteen years
And finished 5th grade as he vowed.

Bubba looked so durn puffed-up
As he strutted 'cross the stage;
He was a might bit bigger boy
Cuz he's twenty-seven years of age.

So that thar graduation gown
Looked more like a skin-tight shirt on him;
With all its buttons popped clean off,
It sure is good that Bubba's slim!

Now Bubba has his graduation paper
Hanging neatly on the wall;
It really hides the shotgun blast
from when he tripped and fell.

All of us are just so struttin' proud
Cuz he's the first we could ever mention
Who finally went the whole long route
And got all his educatin'
